The sunbeam hits the red-throated diver just as it descends onto the pond. It's already late summer, and the red-throated divers gather together before embarking on their migration journey. Safe travels, and welcome back next year! The red-throated diver is relatively rare in Finland, and it usually nests hidden from humans in peaceful wilderness ponds.
